DELIVERING YOUR MESSAGE
You need your message delivered to employees, customers, and prospects; and to get the most out of your investment, you need to get it to them quickly, through their choice of a wide range of delivery methods.
Whether you want a brand new website, a mobile device app, or a glossy new magazine, our team will work with you to identify your key messages and how to communicate them effectively. Most importantly, we have ideas and solutions you haven’t yet considered.
Our process is simple yet customized for each client. For a new website, for example:
What is it you want to achieve with your website, is it more of what you already have? Expanding into new markets or new products? Growing your most successful product, or your least? What are your company’s greatest strengths, and what are its weaknesses? What do you want a user to think, see, and feel when they visit your website? How and what will keep users on your website, and to return? Who are your competitors and what are they doing?
Once goals are set, we brainstorm new and different ways to achieve them. Perhaps some goals are better achieved through a different venue, or through multiple venues. If you’ve already tried to reach a goal through one method, what did you learn and what could be done differently? What will motivate users to take action? If your wish list is extensive, would it work better to build the site in phases, rolling out new features over time? Is there a need for a second (or third) website or landing pages to achieve specific goals?
How will your site remain fresh and up-to-date? You may choose to use what you already have, or we can help you determine if a content strategy is needed. A content strategy involves determining what will be included on your site, what is your website’s “voice,” from who and how will new content be added, and who will oversee that the content is consistent both in voice and style?
Navigating Your Site
Then comes the nitty-gritty of designing a navigation theme that is clear and intuitive. How will users find what they’re looking for? We break your content down into categories and subcategories (and often sub-subcategories). What are your users looking for? What do you want them to see first, second, third? What are your company’s future plans that we need to keep in mind so the website can grow with you?
Every website we build is a custom solution, our next step is the actual look and feel of your website. Keeping your goals in mind at every step, we submit wireframes and storyboards for your approval. From ongoing feedback, we add color, images, forms & applications, usability, and interactivity. We do all of this until you’re completely satisfied.
